The Government of Sierra Leone was deeply saddened and shocked about the recent fuel accident in Conakry and in sympathy and in solidarity with the Guinean’s government and its citizens , the Government of Sierra Leone through Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA) is currently giving supportive hands to the Guinea’s government with some supply of petroleum products .
The dispatch of Bulk Road Vehicles (BRVs) with petroleum products to the Guinea’s government emanated as a result of the recent fuel explosion in one of their main oil terminals in Conakry . This aims at cushioning the apparent challenges Guineans will experience during this difficult moment.
The President of the Republic of Sierra Leone,His Excellency Retired Brigadier President Julius Maada Bio sent special envoys on behalf of the Government of Sierra Leone headed by the Executive Chairman of Petroleum Regulatory Agency ( PRA) together with some staff from Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA),National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHs) and Office of National Security (ONS) in order to sympathize with them and also to provide logistics supports to their personnel ;also to demonstrate the robust existential bilateral relations between the two sisters countries for decades .
The Government of Sierra Leone through the lined Agency wishes to make it known to Sierra Leoneans that they shouldn’t be panic and worries when those Bulk Roads Vehicles (BRVs) are in procession while heading to Guinea.
