Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has made two new appointments into his administration.
The announcement was made in a public notice issued today through the Office of the President of Sierra Leone.
In a significant military promotion, Brigadier General Idara Bangura has been elevated to the rank of Major-General in the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF). This promotion reflects his exemplary service and dedication to national security.
Additionally, Mr. Joseph M. Bindi has been appointed as the new Chairman of the National Council for Civic Education and Democracy (NaCCED). His appointment is expected to strengthen the council’s role in promoting civic engagement and democracy within the country.
The appointments were formally communicated by Dr. Emmanuela R. Gaima, Secretary to the President, from State House in Freetown.
