Freetown, Sierra Leone – The Office of the President has officially announced a series of high-level military appointments approved by His Excellency Brigadier (Rtd) Dr. Julius Maada Bio.
In a public notice issued from State House, the following individuals have been confirmed for critical roles in the Sierra Leone Armed Forces:
1. Brigadier General Sahr Ngaujah has been appointed as Chief of General Staff.
2. Brigadier General Kemoh Sesay has been named Chief of Army Staff.
3. Captain (Navy) Lawrence Jabati assumes the role of Chief of Naval Staff.
This announcement, signed by Emmanuel AR Gaima, Secretary to the President, marks a significant step in strengthening the leadership of the nation’s defense forces.
State House emphasized the President’s confidence in the newly appointed leaders to effectively carry out their duties and uphold the integrity of Sierra Leone’s armed forces.
