Renowned Nigerian actor John Okafor, famously known as Mr. Ibu, has tragically passed away at the age of 62.
Reports indicate that he succumbed to cardiac arrest, leaving behind a legacy in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
In the days leading up to his demise, Mr. Ibu faced a series of personal challenges.
His first wife divorced him, depriving him of his savings, while his second wife accused him of inappropriate behavior with their daughter. These troubles compounded as he battled diabetes, blood clotting, and deteriorating blood vessels in his leg.
Adding to his woes, it was revealed that his daughter misappropriated funds intended for his medical treatment. Despite his declining health, his wife allegedly continued to make demands, even asking for the latest iPhone.
In a desperate bid to cover medical expenses, Mr. Ibu was forced to sell off most of his assets.
Tragically, his health continued to deteriorate, resulting in the amputation of his leg before his untimely passing.
