In a recent address to the citizens of Freetown, Mayor Aki-Sawyerr emphasized the critical importance of promptly paying property rates and business licenses.
She stated, “Property rates and business licenses account for 60% of Freetown City Council’s own source revenue.”
The timely payment of these fees, she stressed, is essential for delivering much-needed services to residents.
The distribution of demand notes for property rates and business licenses is currently underway, urging citizens to actively participate in the city’s transformation.
Mayor Aki-Sawyerr urged all Freetonians to contribute to creating a city they can be proud of.
