Five out of 12 suspects detained in the Kambia police detention facility have escaped police detention last evening sources say.
This came following a routine procedure by police officers to do head count in the cells during a shift change.
Suspects allegedly splashed human excreta at the officers and 5 including one Semaron (Sexy Bee) escaped and 7 recovered.
It is yet unclear whether suspects arrested on drug trafficking allegation on Wednesday (Yesterday) formed part of the escapees.
Police Media Officer, Kambia Police Division has refused responding on the issue.
