The Inspector General of Police, William Fayia Sellu, has recently selected four exemplary officers from the Sierra Leone Police Force for an intensive 8-week Training Program at Egypt’s prestigious International Security Training Centre.
The comprehensive course encompasses a wide range of subjects, including Community Policing, Human Rights, Leadership, and Counterterrorism, and is set to host 150 participants hailing from 30 different African countries.
The chosen officers from the Sierra Leone Police Force include Superintendent Monica Johnson (Officer Commanding New England Ville Police Station), Superintendent Samuel Saio Conteh (Deputy Head of the Community Relations Department), Inspector Alieu Mansaray (Media and Community Relations Officer), and Mohamed Teteh Fofanah (from the Operations Support Division).
This nomination underscores their exceptional skills, unwavering commitment, and potential to make significant contributions to advancing policing standards within Sierra Leone.
Throughout the program, these officers are expected to connect with peers, exchange experiences, and glean insights from seasoned professionals across the African continent.
