Excitement is building as five communities prepare to battle for the prestigious “Fun Games for All Ages Trophy” in the 2026 edition, an initiative organized by the Residential Elderly Care Foundation (REC Foundation) in support of older people.
The competition is expected to bring together community members of different generations in a celebration of sports, unity, healthy living and respect for the elderly. The event builds on the Foundation’s previous inter-community games, which have attracted attention for promoting participation across age groups.
The five participating communities will compete in a series of fun and competitive sporting activities, with teams hoping to demonstrate their strength, teamwork, determination and community spirit.
More than simply competing for a trophy, the 2026 games are designed to create an opportunity for children, young people, adults and elderly people to come together, interact and celebrate the important role older people play in society.
The REC Foundation says the initiative is also intended to promote active ageing and social inclusion, while encouraging families and communities to pay greater attention to the wellbeing and dignity of elderly people.
With five communities now preparing for the showdown, the question on everyone’s lips is: Who will lift the 2026 Fun Games for All Ages Trophy?
The answer will be decided on the SS Camp field on 7th November2026, where community pride, teamwork and determination will take centre stage.
The battle is on. Five communities. One trophy. One celebration for all ages.
