Four Sierra Leonean match officials have been selected by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to take charge of a key CAF Confederation Cup fixture.
The quartet will officiate the match between Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy FC and Mauritius’ AS Port-Louis 2000. The game is set for 12 September 2026.
The appointment is another strong show of confidence by CAF in Sierra Leone’s growing pool of referees. It also underlines the steady progress being made in raising the standard of match officiating in the country.
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has congratulated the officials on the prestigious assignment and wished them well.
When they step onto the pitch, they will carry the hopes of the nation and further strengthen Sierra Leone’s reputation for producing reliable, professional referees.
