Infinitum Energy Group’s CEO, Lindsay Nagle, engaged in a pivotal meeting with President Julius Maada Bio and his accompanying delegation during a recent visit to New York City.
The central focus of this encounter was the groundbreaking $189 million Waste-to-Energy project, poised to generate 30 megawatts of electricity.
The project was presented to Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella, the recently appointed Chairman of the Special Initiative for Climate Change, Renewable Energy, and Food Security.
The assembly featured esteemed guests, including Hon. Jiwoh Abdulai, Minister of Environment and Climate Change; Hon. Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, Minister of Finance; and Mr. Mathew Dingie, Financial Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.
Infinitum Energy’s facility directly addresses four of the Government’s five major transformative initiatives: Human Capital Development, Youth Employment, Revamping Public Services, and Tech and Infrastructure.
The company expressed its enthusiasm to collaborate on these vital undertakings, viewing it as a significant stride toward a cleaner and brighter future for Sierra Leone.
