Freetown, Sierra Leone – Reports circulating on social media indicate that a Sierra Leonean man identified as Ibrahim, also known as “Brahim,” has allegedly been kidnapped in Freetown, raising concern among online users.
The victim is reportedly the husband of social media personalities Miss Glow and Fatima. Posts shared across platforms, particularly Facebook, suggest the alleged abduction may have been premeditated, with the suspected perpetrators said to have monitored the individual’s daily movements prior to the incident.
Unverified claims circulating online further allege that some of the suspects may be serving members of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces and the Sierra Leone Police.
Images purportedly identifying individuals alleged to be involved in handcuffs have also been widely shared on social media, prompting concerns about discipline and accountability within the country’s security services.
As of the time of reporting, there has been no official confirmation from authorities regarding the alleged kidnapping. Information relating to the motive, possible ransom demands, or the current whereabouts of the victim remains unclear.
No formal statement has yet been issued by the Sierra Leone Police or the Ministry of Defence on the matter. Should investigations be launched, any confirmed involvement of serving personnel could lead to disciplinary or criminal proceedings under applicable laws.
Further updates are expected as more verified information becomes available.
