In a significant development, His Excellency President Brig. (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio has announced the appointment of Mr. Ahmed Atata Mansaray Esq. as the Commissioner of the National Youth Commission.
The decision comes in accordance with Section 11 (1) of the National Youth Commission Act, 2009.
Mr. Mansaray, who currently serves in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, has been chosen to lead the National Youth Commission, subject to the approval of Parliament.

Upon the successful approval of his appointment by Parliament, Mr. Mansaray will assume the role of Commissioner, overseeing the nation’s youth-related policies and initiatives.
