In a firm statement, the family, team, and supporters of Fantacee Wiz have categorically denied any claims suggesting Kao Denero’s involvement in her release.
The statement emphasized that these rumors are unfounded and are seen as a deliberate attack by those aligned with Kao Denero.
The official release stated, “These allegations are entirely without merit and represent a low tactic by individuals linked to Kao Denero.” The team insisted that it was crucial to correct the misinformation, reiterating, “Kao Denero had absolutely no role in Fantacee Wiz’s release. Claims to the contrary are false and diminish the efforts of those truly involved.”
The public and media were urged to disregard these baseless rumors and to avoid spreading false information.
“Fantacee Wiz and her team are focusing on her well-being, and we appreciate the unwavering support from her loyal fans and the community,” the statement continued.
The statement also included a stern warning: “Anyone found disseminating this false information will face legal repercussions under the laws of Sierra Leone, which Fantacee Wiz, her team, and her family respect highly.”
On July 15, 2024, Fantacee Wiz was detained and taken to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) following allegations of her involvement with a blog named Salone Gossip—a claim she and her supporters have vigorously denied.
Last year, tensions flared between Kao Denero and Fantacee Wiz during a series of public discussions on mental health.
The feud ignited when musician FynFace spoke about his struggles with depression, drawing parallels to the late Nigerian musician Mohbad. FynFace’s comments about the lack of support from fellow entertainers prompted various responses, including one from Kao Denero, who shared his experiences with public and professional animosity to encourage FynFace.
However, Fantacee Wiz responded by accusing Kao Denero of narcissism, claiming he always centers discussions on himself. In retaliation, Kao Denero posted about a “witch” resenting his success, a comment widely perceived as targeting Fantacee Wiz, who has been open about her spiritual beliefs.
Subsequently, Fantacee Wiz posted about an invasion of her privacy, alleging someone had entered her home and taken pictures of her child. She also mentioned receiving threats but did not provide evidence.
