Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Sengeh has asseted that politics should not be based on divisiveness, but rather a game of inclusion and ideology.
He made this assertion while addressing citizens yesterday on Radio Democracy 98.1.
David Sengeh noted that he belongs to the SLPP, a party which believes in inclusion, human capital development, gender and education.
He reiterated that Sierra Leoneans are divided by bad politicians who have no political ideologies, but rather hinge on the concept of divide and rule thereby setting citizens up against each other on political grounds.
He intimated that he has lots of opposition APC members as friends with whom he hangs out, as well as highlighting his close ties with Dr. Samura M. W. Kamara whose wife is no distant relative, but an aunt from the same district and village.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sengeh also joined stakeholders of the SLPP at the party’s headquarter in Freetown for their NEC meeting with President Julius Maada Bio, who also doubles as the Leader of the party.
The Chief Minister concluded that he’s proud to associate himself with the SLPP and will remain faithful to its tenets and ideologies.
