FREETOWN, Sierra Leone — In a significant administrative development, President Julius Maada Bio has appointed Mr. Barba Brima Fortune as the new Secretary to the President, in accordance with Section 67(1) of the 1991 Constitution of Sierra Leone.
The appointment was formally announced by Press Secretary Yusuf Keketoma Sandi, Esq., who conveyed the President’s confidence in Mr. Fortune’s capabilities to support the executive branch effectively.
Mr. Fortune brings extensive experience to this pivotal role, having previously served as Secretary to the Vice President and as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands, Country Planning, and the Environment.
