Freetown, Sierra Leone – Thursday, 7 August 2025 – President Julius Maada Bio is scheduled to deliver the Presidential Address this morning, marking the official State Opening of the Third Session of the Sixth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone.
The ceremonial event, which begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Parliament Building in Freetown, will bring together Members of Parliament, government officials, diplomats, traditional leaders, and members of the public.
The President’s address is expected to outline the government’s legislative priorities, national development agenda, and policy direction for the coming year.
