Freetown – Leone Stars head coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa has invited 27 home-based players to begin preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) confirmed that the players have been called up to start training on Monday, 17 August 2026, at the SLFA Technical Centre in Freetown.
The camp forms part of the technical team’s early preparations as the national side builds towards the 2027 AFCON Qualifiers.
Coach Da Rosa’s list features a mix of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards drawn from clubs across the Sierra Leone Premier League and other local sides.
