A tragic mudslide at the FB Group construction site in Lungi has claimed the lives of two workers.
The incident occurred while four FB Group employees were installing an underground pipe. The mudslide buried them, but they were quickly rescued and taken to Lungi Hospital.
According to sources, two of the workers—one Sierra Leonean and one Senegalese—died from their injuries.
The remaining two have been transferred to Freetown for intensive medical care.
FB Group is currently constructing the International Conference Centre complex in Lungi, which includes a hotel project.
The company has not yet issued a statement on the accident.
