A Cameroonian national Ndakwe Tata Sylvain was brought before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road court No1 for unlawful possessing of fake traveling documents.
The accused is charged with one count of possession of a travelling document suspected to have been unlawfully obtained contrary to Section 13 (1) of the Summary Conviction Offences, CAP 37 of the Laws of Sierra Leone 1960, as Amended by the Summary Conviction Offences (Amended) Act 1966.
According to the particulars of offense, the accused Ndakwe Tata Sylvain on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Freetown International Airport, Lungi, whilst attempting to travel out of Sierra Leone, was found having in his possession one United States of America Passport with Seria Number 681471593 bearing the name and photograph of Oliver Agah Tata, suspected to have been unlawfully obtained.
After the charge was read and explained to the accused, he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrate Ngegba adjourned matter to Monday, 13 August 13, 2023, for sentencing.
