Kambia, 13 May 2025 – Security personnel at the Mile 18 checkpoint arrested a 38-year-old man on Tuesday morning in connection with suspected drug trafficking.
David Johnson, a resident of No. 2 Freetown Highway, Deepeye Water, was apprehended at approximately 08:00 hours. He was found in possession of several parcels containing dried leaves believed to be cannabis sativa.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter to determine the full extent of the suspect’s activities and possible connections.
