The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) is in mourning following the death of Reverend Smart K. Senesie, its former Moyamba District Chairman and National Chaplain.
Rev. Senesie passed away at the 34 Military Hospital in Freetown, as announced in tributes from party members. He was a dedicated leader known for his spiritual guidance and commitment to the SLPP.
Previously, he served as Executive Director of the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA), where he worked to improve road safety and combat corruption in public administration.
Party supporters have expressed deep gratitude for his service, with one tribute stating: “Former SLPP Moyamba District Chairman and National Chaplain Rev. Smart Senesie has answered to the call of the Almighty God. We appreciate your service to our beloved Party and Country.”
Rev. Senesie’s legacy includes his faith-driven leadership and contributions to both politics and national development in Moyamba and beyond.
