Freetown, Sierra Leone – January 13, 2026 – The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of members to its key standing committees, the Organising Committee and the Technical Committee, following approval by the Executive Committee.
In a press release issued on Monday, January 12, 2026, and signed by Ibrahim Kamara, Head of Media and Marketing, the SLFA stated that these appointments aim to enhance the planning, coordination, and technical development of football across the country.
SLFA Organising Committee
The Organising Committee, tasked with the planning, coordination, and oversight of organised competitions, events, and related activities in line with the Association’s statutes and regulations, will be led by:
– Abdul Osman Turay – Chairman
– Foday Anthony – Vice Chairman
– Musu “Pele” Bangura – Member
– Abu Mansaray – Member
– Noel Kitami Horton – Member
– Abdul Pascal Gbla – Member
– Mohamed U.T.A. Kamara – Member
– Yusif Rogers – Member
– Mohamed Taimmeh – Member
This nine-member committee is expected to play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth execution of domestic leagues, cups, and other football events in Sierra Leone.
SLFA Technical Committee
The Technical Committee, responsible for providing technical guidance and oversight on football development, coaching education, and all technical aspects of the game in Sierra Leone, will be chaired by:
– Alie Badara Tarawallie – Chairman
– Emmanuel Allieu – Vice Chairman
– Idrissa Mago Tarawally – Member
– Victoria Conteh – Member
– John Edward Keister – Member
Notably, Alie Badara Tarawallie, a seasoned football administrator and former SLFA Vice President, brings extensive experience to the chairmanship of the Technical Committee. His leadership is anticipated to bolster coaching programs, youth development initiatives, and overall technical standards in Sierra Leonean football.
The SLFA congratulated all the newly appointed officials and wished them success in their roles.
The Association emphasized that these committees form part of its ongoing efforts to improve governance, development, and the overall administration of football in the country.
