The whereabouts of prominent Sierra Leonean journalist Thomas Dixon and his family remain unknown following alleged threats from the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
Dixon, known for his critical reporting, recently posted on Facebook, accusing the IGP of reversing a court-approved bail and transferring a crime officer involved in the case.
In a subsequent phone conversation, the IGP reportedly advised Dixon to submit his concerns in writing, refusing to address the matter directly.
Family members have expressed grave concern, stating they have not been able to contact Dixon since the threats were made public.
Efforts to obtain comments from the IGP have been unsuccessful, further intensifying fears for the safety of Dixon and his family.
