Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has today announced that he will be addressing the nation tommorow, Christmas day.
In a formal announcement on Twitter, President Bio conveyed to the citizens and residents of Sierra Leone, stating, “Fellow Citizens and Residents of Sierra Leone, I will address the nation tomorrow Christmas Day at 7 AM.

This declaration comes after a high-powered ECOWAS delegation, including the presidents of Ghana and Senegal, yesterday held talks with President Julius Maada Bio behind closed doors at State House. They also had similar engagement with former president, Ernest Bai Koroma, who’s being held under house arrest relating to a failed coup attempt in November.
Hello Mr president, thank you for taking care of our country, please keep our constitution alive and protect the lives of the citizens of the republic of Sierra Leone thereby taken a constitutional step towards the November 26th failed attempted coup which resulted to the death of our royal securities, whoever is found wanting should face the full force of the law irrespective of their status in societies. We like your developmental strives but there has been series of distractions which are mounted by certain people whom in their own believe are the only legitimate camp to rule this country. Hope you will take actions which will protect the peace and lives of meaningful Sierra Leoneans
