Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio and delegation have just arrived in the Federal Capital, Abuja, Nigeria to attend the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Extraordinary Summit.
The Summit will be held today, 24th February, 2024, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The Summit conveyed by the ECOWAS Chairman President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will discuss the political, peace, and security situation in the ECOWAS Sub-Region.
Among the Sierra Leone delegation is the Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Timothy Musa Kabba, the Press Secretary Yusuf Keketoma Sandi Esq. among others.
The President and Delegation were received by High Commissioner Rupert Davies, the Head of Chancery Yusuf Benga Samah, and other diplomatic staff of the High Commission including officials from the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
