The Mile 91 Police Division acted swiftly on intelligence received from a concerned citizen regarding drug activity in Rochen Junction.
Reports indicated that Aminata Turay, a resident of Rochen Junction in the Yoni Mamailla Chiefdom of Tonkolili District, was allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
Upon arriving at the location, officers conducted a search of Turay’s premises and made a surprising discovery: a locally made shotgun pistol along with three cartridges, all in Turay’s possession without lawful authority.
Both the suspect and the items have been placed in police custody as investigations continue.
