BO — The Sierra Leone Premier League Board (PLB) has officially announced the dates for the 2026 Unity Cup and the 2026/2027 Leone Rock Premier League.
In a press release issued for immediate release, the Board confirmed that the Unity Cup 2026 will be staged on Sunday, 4th October 2026, at the Southern Arena in Bo.
The prestigious curtain-raiser will feature Leone Rock Premier League champions Bo Rangers FC against Orange Sierra Leone FA Cup winners East End Lions FC.
The PLB said entrance to the match will be free for all spectators.
The Board also confirmed that the 2026/2027 Leone Rock Premier League season will officially kick off on Saturday, 10th October 2026.
According to the PLB, the date for the publication of the full fixtures will be communicated shortly.
Reiterating its commitment to the growth of the local game, the Board said it remains focused on delivering a professionally organized, competitive, and exciting league season while promoting fair play, discipline, sporting excellence, and the continued development of football in Sierra Leone.
The Board called on clubs, players, coaches, match officials, supporters, sponsors and all football stakeholders to work together towards a successful season.
