Mrs. Nabeela Tunis, the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, accompanied by the National Tourist Board, recently carried out a spot check visit to various Bars and Restaurants in the Lumely and Aberdeen area.
The primary objective of this tour was to assess and uphold hygiene standards in these popular beachside locations.
The proactive measure aimed to identify and address potential health risks faced by the beaches and to implement effective solutions for proper beach management.
During her address, Mrs. Tunis emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness at these venues, as they serve as the initial impression for tourists visiting the country.
Furthermore, the ministry, along with other relevant authorities, will continue to conduct regular monitoring of the beaches to prevent any contamination and ensure that these picturesque coastal areas remain pristine and welcoming to tourists and locals alike.
