Minister Bah unequivocally stated that the opportunity for legal challenges to the election results has expired, clarifying that the establishment of the Elections Review Committee serves a distinct purpose.
Minister Bah stressed that the main objective behind the creation of the Elections Review Committee, initiated by the President, is to enhance the overall effectiveness, legal framework, and infrastructure of our electoral procedures.
According to him, the committee’s primary role is to offer recommendations aimed at refining the electoral process.
Highlighting a significant development, Minister Bah underscored the significance of the Vice President’s appointment as the Committee’s Chairman. This move, he emphasized, signifies the President’s strong commitment and endorsement to ensuring a thorough review process.
