Key Resolutions from the Meeting
The stakeholders agreed on a series of activities and initiatives to commemorate Steady Bongo’s life and contributions:

It was resolved that a vigil and candlelight night will be held on December 17 and 18 at Jigibonta. The location was chosen for its accessibility and symbolic significance to the entertainment community. “This will provide an opportunity for fans, friends, and colleagues to come together to pay their respects,” Ambassador Denero explained.
2. Fundraising Committees
To support funeral arrangements, fundraising committees were formed. These groups will organize events and solicit contributions from individuals and organizations within and beyond the entertainment industry. Transparency mechanisms will be put in place to account for all funds. “We want to ensure that every penny raised is used effectively to honour the legacy of Steady Bongo,” said Prezo Colabo.
3. Funeral Planning
Attendees agreed to collaborate closely with Steady Bongo’s family to execute all aspects of the funeral. “This is a time for unity and collective effort,” remarked Jimmy-B. The focus will be on creating a memorable farewell that reflects the late artist’s significant impact.
