In a significant commencement of the Oath Taking and Swearing In Ceremony for their elected following the recent Communique signed on the 18th of October 2023 between the Government of Sierra Leone and the All Peoples Congress (APC), the APC has officially announced the commencement of the Oath Taking and Swearing In Ceremony for their elected representatives.
The APC acknowledges the letters received from the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs dated 20th October 2023 and 25th October 2023. These letters pertain to the inauguration of elected local council representatives in specific regions:
a. WESTERN AREA RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL:

The swearing-in ceremony for the APC’s elected local council representatives in the Southern and Eastern Regions will be conducted by the Chief Administrator of the respective councils, in accordance with the law.
