Another Food Poisoning Incident Reported in Freetown, Eight People Admitted

Eight people were taken to the Ola During Children’s Hospital earlier today for treatment following a suspected food poisoning incident at Mill Street, around Magazine Court according to the Ministry of Health.

The patients are reportedly stable and responding to treatment.

This is the second report of a suspected food poisoning case within a week that has affected over 80 people in Freetown.

Meanwhile, the patients who were admitted at the Connaught Hospital over the weekend for suspected food poisoning at Marbella Community have been discharged.

The 2 who were in critical condition and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit are still at the Hospital according to the health authorities.
