Authorities in Liberia have made a significant arrest in connection with drug trafficking, alleging the involvement of a nephew of Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio.
According to reports, the Liberian Drugs Enforcement Agency (DEA) confirmed the apprehension of two Sierra Leoneans on drug charges, one of whom claims to be related to President Bio.

Both individuals are expected to face drug possession charges in court, with significant quantities of drugs seized from them further strengthening the case against them.
