Star Sport Academy has appointed former Amazulu head coach Jozef Vukušič as Technical Adviser, a move designed to strengthen both the first team and the academy’s long-term player development programme.
Vukušič, a Slovakian coach with a solid professional pedigree, previously managed South African Premiership club Amazulu. He brings tactical knowledge and hands-on experience in building competitive squads, which the academy says will benefit its senior setup and youth pathways.
The appointment forms part of Star Sport Academy’s efforts to raise coaching standards and create clearer routes for young talent to progress.
Officials highlighted Vukušič’s “wealth of experience and expertise” as a key reason for bringing him on board.
