In a recent operation, Adama Bangura of Black Gate Ghetto, located along Soja Street in Fullah Town, Waterloo, and nine other individuals were apprehended by the diligent Operations Team of Waterloo.
The arrests occurred two days ago but culminated in a courtroom spectacle today, September 29th, 2023.
Appearing before the Magistrate’s Court at King Yard, Waterloo, all ten accused individuals faced a slew of charges, including Unlawful Possession of Kush and being found in a place used for the consumption of the substance, which contravenes the Deug and Pharmacy Act and the Public Order Act.
Due to the unavoidable absence of the Magistrate, none of the accused entered a plea.
Consequently, all ten suspects were remanded to the Banga Farm/Kissi Town Correctional Center on the outskirts of Waterloo.
The next hearing in this case is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023.
