Chief Superintendent of Police Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Sama, the Head of Operations of the Operations Support Department (OSD), popularly called Delta 2, has on Monday the 1st of January 2024 made an unannounced on-the-spot visit to the Waterloo Police Divisional Headquarters during his routine confidence building patrols in the Western Area Rural District.
Dressed in his usual 25 Kilogram ballistic body armor and being escorted by a customized armored personnel carrier vehicle, the 6feet 7 inches-tall Delta 2 held a brief closed-door meeting with the Local Unit Commander of the Waterloo Police Division, CSP Mr. Joe Kamanda Bongay, before proceeding to other areas of the district.
The short visit of the Delta 2 did not go unnoticed as hundreds of Police officers on stand-fast duties rushed at him and started sharing fond memories of his time in Waterloo.
“I cherish the good work relationship we created whilst I was with you in Waterloo. Probably, they are the best so far in my policing career. I hold all of you dearly in my heart,” he remarked with his trademark gap-tooth broad smile.
Police personnel of the Waterloo Police Division offered prayers for Delta 2 for God’s continued guidance and infinite elevation for the invincible leader who recently emerged as The Best Police Officer of the Year, 2023.
