President Julius Maada Bio together with the Chief Minister Dr David Moinina Sengeh, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Timothy Kabba has today 19th October arrived in Brussels, Belgium ahead of a two days 9th Edition of the Rebranding Africa Forum (RAF).
During this two -days event which will commence on the 20th October, President Bio , who is the Guest of Honour will speak on the increased awareness about significant investment opportunities in Sierra Leone.
President Bio will also speak on the success stories and achievements of Sierra Leone at national and global levels and the awareness of government promoted pathways to financial inclusion.
RAF is a socio-economic forum which main mission is to improve Africa’s image and to promote its assets. The challenge is to break cognitive biases that characterise the perception on African countries, to reinforce confidence of partners, investors.
In 9 years, the Rebranding Africa Forum has become the most prestigious pan-African economic event in Brussels. It aims to find ways and means to accelerate the emergence of the African continent.
The theme for this Edition is “Revolution in African financial systems, blending authenticity and modernity: Pathways to financial inclusion”.
President Bio is expected to have bilateral engagement with Organisation of Africa, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), the President will also have engagements with Presidents and Chairs of different financial institutions at the margins of the Forum.
