Freetown, Sierra Leone — The National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) has announced the closure of its ID card application and issuance services at the Youyi Building, effective Monday, October 14, 2024.
This move comes as part of the NCRA’s transition to its newly established headquarters on King Harman Road, where fully operational ID card services are now available.
In a public statement, the NCRA reassured citizens that its ID card services will continue at several locations across the Western Urban District. These include the offices on Kennedy Street, Walpole Street, the new King Harman Road headquarters, and the Lumley Roundabout outlet.
For those who applied for ID cards at the Youyi Building but have not yet collected them, the NCRA advised that these can now be picked up at the King Harman Road headquarters.
The NCRA reaffirmed its commitment to providing seamless civil registration and identity management services across the nation.
