Musa Noah Kamara, popularly known as Musa Tombo, could miss the crucial two-legged fixture between the Leone Stars and Ivory Coast, as concerns over his fitness arise.
Kamara returned to the team’s training on Monday after being absent for a week.
During a conversation with Head Coach Amidu Karim, he revealed that he does not feel ready to travel with the team due to his current physical condition.
Kamara emphasized the need for additional recovery time to catch up with the pace and intensity of his teammates.
The Leone Stars are set to depart for Ivory Coast next week, with the first leg scheduled for October 11th, followed by a home game against Liberia on October 15th.
Kamara’s potential absence could be a significant blow to Sierra Leone’s preparations for the important matches.
