Freetown, 12th June 2026 – A massive Le100 million reward (100,000 New Leones) is being offered to anyone who provides credible information leading to the safe return of a baby who went missing from the Special Care Baby Unit at the Ola During Children’s Hospital and Princess Christian Maternity Hospital (ODCH/PCMH) in Freetown on Friday, 6th June 2025.
The baby’s disappearance shocked the nation and has since sparked an ongoing investigation led by the Sierra Leone Police and the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), in partnership with hospital authorities.
Now, the Sierra Leone Nurses Association (SLNA) and the Sierra Leone Midwives Association (SLMA)—working with the hospital—have announced this Le100 million incentive to encourage the public to come forward with any helpful information.
All tips will be kept strictly confidential, and the identity of any informant will be protected.
The reward can be paid through Cash, Orange Money, Africell Money, or Bank Transfer, depending on the informant’s preference.
If you have any information that could help bring the baby home, please contact:

“This is one of the largest rewards ever offered for a missing child in Sierra Leone,” said an SLNA representative. “We are appealing to the conscience of the nation—help us find this baby and receive a life-changing reward in return.”
The organizations involved continue to express hope for the child’s safe return and urge the public to share this message widely.
Let’s come together as a nation. One tip could make all the difference.
