The Judiciary of Sierra Leone has officially announced the commencement of a crucial Court martial set to begin today at Court No. 1, Main Law Court Building, Freetown.
Stringent security measures have been implemented around the court precinct to ensure a seamless process, including a reduction in the number of individuals present.
In light of the security arrangements, Court Reporters have been granted temporary Media Accreditation for the following reputable Media Houses:
– Radio Democracy
– AYV
– SLBC
– Star TV/Radio
– Politico Newspaper
– A-Z
– Global Times
– Concord Times
– Standard Times
– Night Watch
This precautionary measure is taken to comply with security protocols during the ongoing Court martial.
Journalists are advised that access to the Court precinct will be challenging after 8:00 AM.
