As schools across Sierra Leone open their doors for a new academic year, the Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Conrad O. Sackey, has extended a warm welcome to all pupils, encouraging them to embrace the opportunities ahead.
“Whether you are returning to familiar classrooms or stepping into a new school for the first time, know that you are beginning a journey filled with exciting opportunities and new experiences,” said Minister Sackey in his message to pupils.

“Education is one of the most powerful tools you will ever have. It opens doors to knowledge, helps you dream bigger, and empowers you to shape your future,” Sackey stated.
