As the second half commenced, Mohamed Turay came close to doubling Bambara Tong’s lead, yet Francis Koroma’s skillful goalkeeping kept Kroo Town Road’s hopes alive. Kamara missed a crucial chance for Kroo Town Road, failing to capitalize on a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper.
The stakes are high in this season’s championship, with a lucrative cash prize of Le 50,000NLe awaiting the ultimate victors. The 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up teams won’t leave empty-handed either, as they are set to receive Nle 30,000 and NLe 20,000, respectively.
