A Freetown-based medical doctor, Dr Adrian Hanciles, has been missing since last Thursday, 3 September 2026, prompting growing concern among his family, colleagues and the wider public.
Dr Hanciles was last seen at about 8:30 a.m. near St Mary’s Supermarket at Hillcot Junction. He was wearing a brown shirt and trousers at the time. His whereabouts have remained unknown ever since.
The Sierra Leone Medical and Dental Association has now joined the search and circulated a missing-person notice carrying its logo and a clear photograph of the doctor to help members of the public identify him.
His family is urgently appealing to anyone who may have seen Dr Hanciles or who has credible information about his location to come forward immediately. They can be reached on +232 88 470876.
Both the family and the medical community are hoping for his safe return and have urged the public to share only accurate and useful information while circulating the notice widely.
