A young man identified as Sullay, popularly known as Oscar, has died after being stabbed during an argument at a car wash in Kokofele Town.
Reports indicate that the incident stemmed from a disagreement between Sullay and another young man named Adams over boiled groundnuts. The quarrel reportedly began last week and escalated on Saturday, leading to the fatal stabbing.
Sullay sustained serious injuries during the confrontation and later died. Adams has been taken into police custody to assist with investigations.
Police are currently probing the circumstances surrounding the incident and the death of the young man.
Residents of Kokofele Town and surrounding communities have expressed shock over the tragic outcome of what started as a minor dispute.
