SierraEyeSalone has confirmed the departure of four top management staff from the renowned Radio Democracy 98.1. Asmaa James, Khadija Bangura, Mabel Kabba, and Alex Lawrence Koroma will be leaving or have already left the station.
Kadijah Bangura, the popular host of the flagship program, Good Morning Salone, released a departure notice, expressing her gratitude to friends and well-wishers for their concern. She confirmed her resignation from Radio Democracy, stating that it was a tough decision, but she felt it was time to seek new challenges.
Mabel Kabba, who served at 98.1 for a decade and held the position of Deputy Station Manager, also issued a statement.
She thanked the institution for the opportunity to serve and expressed her dedication to the principles of fairness, honesty, objectivity, and the fear of God.
