In a heartwarming display of generosity and compassion, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of BERSAM Charity Foundation Zainab Denton Bernard, who reside in Ireland has celebrated her birthday by giving out 2, 000 new Leones to three different Orphanage in Freetown.
She also donated gifts to 108 sick kids at the Ola during Children’s Hospital she distributed the items through her charity foundation.
The donations to the orphans and the sick kids was not a one-time gesture for Zainab Denton Bernard, as she has made it a tradition to celebrate her birthday with the needy in Sierra Leone.
While narrating to the media Zainab noted that the orphans are dear to her heart, that is the reason she is doing this gesture to put smile on their faces to ensure that they celebrates the birthday with her.
She continued by praying for the sick kids to have full recovery, urging their parents to take good care of them. Items distributed to the sick kids include, baby dippers, soap, clips, biscuit, toys, baby wipes, milk, and juice.
The parents of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Zainab Bernard Denton for the donation, and prayed God grant her long life and sound health to continue her good work. With joy, the orphans at the Variety Children & Family Services and other orphanage home chanting happy birthday songs and prayers for Zainab. Appreciating the donor, a senior Nurse at Ola during Elizabeth Macauley extends gratitude to Zainab Denton Bernard for her gesture in donating to the sick children at the hospital.
Whiles handing over the donation on behalf of Zainab, Karifa Thoronka emphasizes by that noting that Zainab is a philanthropist as she is always donating to the needy and she is ready to do more.
