Freetown, Sierra Leone – July 2, 2025 – The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially announced the commencement of registration for the 2025 Second Series of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates.
According to WAEC, the registration process began on Monday, June 30, 2025, and will remain open until Monday, September 15, 2025, with the portal closing precisely at 12:00 midnight.
Prospective candidates are required to obtain their registration PINs and serial numbers via Africell’s Afrimoney platform. All registrations must be completed at WAEC-accredited internet cafés across the country.
WAEC emphasized the importance of registering before the deadline, noting that late entries will not be accepted.
