January 8, 2025 – In a significant breakthrough for the Sierra Leone Police, Hassan Fornah, also known as Obio, was apprehended during a sting operation executed by the Operations Team of the Kissy Division.
Fornah, residing at 28 Thompson Street, has been identified by numerous residents as a key figure behind a series of robberies targeting the community around Kissy Mental Home.
The arrest follows a recent incident in which Fornah and his gang allegedly robbed Osman Kamara, a mobile phone businessman living on Wilkinson Road in Smart Farm, of two Samsung S-24 Ultra mobile phones.
Fornah is currently under investigation at the Kissy Police Station as Police work to gather more information that will aid in further investigations.
The police remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of the Kissy community.
