Kroo Bay, Freetown, November 2023 – In a commendable act of generosity, Sheik Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara alias Jagaban,” a prominent politician from the opposition All Peoples Congress party (APC), has stepped forward to address the water challenges faced by the Kroo Bay community. Jagaban’s donation of four(4) 5000-liter Milla Tanks aims to alleviate the community’s struggle to meet the growing demand for clean water amidst pollution concerns.
The Kroo Bay community has long grappled with water scarcity, forcing women and children to wake up at the break of dawn and embark on arduous journeys to fetch water from far-off sources. This daily struggle has significantly impacted the community’s ability to meet their basic needs and hindered their overall quality of life.
